Our Story: 68 Years of Pecan Heritage
The year 1956 found us, Clarence and Sandra Bishop, expecting our first child. What could Sandra do to bring in a little income for the family that would allow her to be a stay at home “Mom”?
Calvin Brown, Sandra’s father, suggested they might start a pecan retail/mail order business. A small business was purchased, consisting of 1 pecan cracker and 200 customers. Bishop and Brown or “B & B” Pecan Co., was born.
Over the last six decades, the retail shop has grown to include over 100 pecan items. We have customers in all 50 states. No matter how big or small, we continue to ensure the quality of our products is second to none and our service is warm and friendly.

Storing Pecans for Home Use
Pecans purchased from us should be refrigerated or frozen in air tight bags or containers to retain fresh color, aroma and flavor. PLEASE REFRIGERATE UPON RECEIPT.
- Pecan Halves: 9 months in fridge, 2 years in freezer.
- Pecan Pieces: 5 months in fridge, 1 year in freezer.
- Unshelled: 18 months in fridge, 2-4 years in freezer.

Please be sure that all addresses are correct and complete. We are not responsible for addressing errors.
State laws prohibit shipment of unshelled pecans to CA, HI, NM, and AZ.
